A Year in Review

Looking back on 2023, I’d say it was the year of peace for me, and also more focus and intention. This gave me time to be present everyday and allowed me to have more time with friends and family, and especially my clients. When we’re together, I’m all in!

Business

This year also saw so many companies and entrepreneurs looking to update their online presence with images that was all about their brand. Most people still want a classic and clean headshot for LinkedIn, but then they like to have a variety of images that show their personality and individuality for other uses like website, brochures, business cards, and social media. The reality is we like to know who we are working with, and typically it’s someone we know, like, and trust, so your headshots and branding portraits should reflect just that.

I’ve also had more time for commercial clients photographing products, landscape designs, and office interiors to name a few. I love supporting local businesses, so helping you with quality imagery that showcases your work and helps you succeed even more, well, that makes me a happy camper.

Family

What else makes me a happy camper is photographing the families I’ve known through the years, seeing their changes and working to capture their love and special times together. And then the joy of meeting and photographing many new families that will now become a tradition is so special. I even photographed my own extended family in December. Yippee! (That’s a blog post to come, though.)

As the Photographer in-kind for Poway Living Magazine, I had the opportunity to meet, and photograph, twelve amazing, caring, and loving families this year. Our team has the most fun spending time with the featured family and getting to know them. It’s one of the highlights of the month.

I know it’s so much work prepping for your portrait session, but the priceless memories and moments captured for eternity make it all worth it. Plus, I will be with you every step of the way!

Love

Surprise engagements, and wedding portraits too. There isn’t a photoshoot without love.

Here’s wishing you more love, peace, and happiness in the new year!

Cheers!
